Diagnostic description:
Flattened ventral shell side. Compression of shell renders edge in ventral side more cranially situated and sharper, giving shell bordering aperture a more steady run toward the dorso-posterior direction. Less developed upper lip and dorsal side ribs than the forma flava. [van der Spoel, 1967]
