SUMMARY
Yoda purpurata is a torquaratorid worm observed near the deep sea floor at a depth of ~2600m in the deep North Atlantic, characterized by its dark reddish-purple proboscis, collar, and genital wings. It is the first hermaphrodite ever to be demonstrated in the family Hemichordata. [Priede, p. 250]
