SUMMARY
Glandiceps abyssicola is an enteropneust (acorn worm) in the family Spengelidae, characterized by its yellow proboscis, red-tinged yellow collar, and yellow anterior trunk. The worm's gill bars are limited to the dorsal third of the pharyngeal circumference, unlike in other species in the genus Glandiceps, in which the gill bar region occupies the dorsal half or more of the pharyngeal circumference.
